They’re a large cut of the Type A+ filter and you have to trim it down to fit your filtration unit. They’re also thinner and more translucent than the one that comes with a new air purifier. Making them annoying to install.This kit comes with four pre-filters and all three rectangular HEPA filters for the HPA3300, which is a full year of service. The pre-filters are like the ones that come with the new purifiers. They’re dense and precut, which makes them easy to install.My only issue is the price on these. They’re name brand and do a great job, but they are just paper and cloth in the end.”

In my photo, the filter on the left is the expensive one from my hardware store that I took out of my machine and the one on the right is this brand which was half the price I normally pay locally. Not even close as far as quality. This one listed here is so much better. It fit snugly into my machine and has not rattled or fallen out or anything like the ones I normally buy do.My machine is located near the cat boxes area of my basement so I do need good carbon filters to absorb that odor before it escapes into my house. I change my filters fairly often and I’m super happy that these are so affordable. If over time, I find that these are not as good as I think they will be, I’ll come edit this review, but so far, for the few days I’ve had these I think they’re surprisingly good.”
